Share buttons for facebook and Twitter are in the quicklinks drop down. To share a topic with description you must click on a post reply prior to sharing, this redirects the URL, otherwise it will simply share the forums default meta info in the thumbnail.
twitters share feature is still being worked on, at the moment it does not derive a thumbnail from the URL. The advantage of the button is that it will clip the user id tag from the end of the URL.
